Meet Rihanna, a small, beautiful girl born in June 2023 who is absolutely bursting with a bubbly personality. Everyone who meets Rihanna immediately falls in love with her! Sadly, she was found as an emaciated stray and looked to have been used for breeding. The pound successfully brought her back to a healthy weight, and she has settled wonderfully into kennel life since arriving with us from the Carlow Kilkenny Pound in December 2024. Rihanna has a super temperament with people, being completely comfortable, friendly, and affectionate with both men and women. She is a dream to walk on the lead and remains perfect when other dogs approach her, she just does not want to live in a home with other dogs. Because she wants to please and is incredibly smart, she just needs someone willing to invest a little time into her. She is best suited as an only dog where she can be the sole focus and receive the dedication she deserves.Rihanna is highly loyal and will become deeply attached to her new home. She requires an experienced owner who can establish clear, healthy boundaries for her. Because of her bouncy, bubbly nature, we feel a home with teenagers upwards would be the best fit. She is also quite clean in her kennel, so she should pick up house training very quickly. Please note that as Rihanna is a restricted breed, she is fully muzzle trained and must wear her muzzle when out in public by law. Also due to being restricted breed she can not be rehomed in a council property. Her pictures truly do not do her justice—she is a lovely, compact small girl in person! Rihanna is fully spayed, microchipped, vaccinated (including Kennel Cough), wormed, and de-flead. A secure garden, home visit, and adoption fee apply.
