HART - Homeless Animal Rescue Team

HART has been in operation since November 2012 and is run by 3 people. We take in pound dogs from all over Ireland, mostly sighthounds. Once assessed and vet work carried out we look for homes for these lovely dogs. We also take dogs from many pounds from different counties in Ireland, even though we are not breed specific we are known for our love of sighthounds. The only surrenders we take are greyhounds as we feel they are in danger of being euthanized. We do not have a shelter and use private boarding kennels mainly, and have a couple of foster homes.
