Kola

Description

💔 FROM A BALCONY TO THE CARLOW POUND... NOW KOLA IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! 🏡

Meet Kola, our stunning 21-month-old black Lurcher boy who is looking for the loving family he so truly deserves. Kola didn't have the best start to life. We believe he started his journey confined to a balcony before landing in the Carlow pound. He came into our care last Christmas, and watching his transformation has been nothing short of magical. Standing at a handsome 26.5 inches tall, Kola is a big puppy at heart! He is friendly, full of fun, and absolutely craves human affection. He is incredibly intelligent and is already flying through his lead and toilet training! Here is what you need to know about this special boy: 🏃‍♂️ The Lurcher Life: Kola loves his daily walks and a good old-fashioned "zoom"! But once his exercise is done, he turns into a total couch potato and relaxes beautifully. 👨 Building Confidence: Kola can be a little nervous around some men. He won't do anything wrong; he just shies away and needs a gentle, patient hand to show him the world isn't so scary. 👶 Family Friendly: He is great with people and is believed to have lived with young children before, though he still has some bouncy puppy manners! 🐕 Canine Friends: Kola loved running and playing with his kennel besties, Midas and Russell, both have found homes now. He would enjoy a home with another medium-to-large dog, but he can also be an only dog if someone is home most of the day. (Please note: No cats or small dogs for Kola, and he needs slow, patient introductions to all new dogs). 🌳 Home Requirements: A secure garden is a must for his sprints, and a home visit/adoption fee applies. Kola is fully vaccinated (including Kennel Cough), microchipped, and neutered. He is based at our North Cork kennels, and potential adopters must be willing to travel to meet him. 🚗❤️ Ready to turn Kola's luck around?
