Description

We got a message just before the Christmas holidays from Offaly Pound, 2 lurchers needed out as their time was more than up. Hastings was one of the lurchers.

Hastings is a tall, gorgeous 2-year-old boy with a beautiful long snout, a heart full of love, and a craving for human attention. This charming, friendly lad is adaptable to both rural and urban living, though he will almost certainly claim ownership of your couch! He needs to be the only pet in the home as he can be dominant with other dogs and cannot live with cats. Due to his tall size and bouncy enthusiasm, he is best suited for families with children aged 10 and older. Walking Hastings is always fun; he can get a bit jumpy on the lead when excited, but he is completely harmless and just overjoyed to go out. He takes great pride in keeping his kennel spotlessly clean, so housetraining should be a breeze. Hastings is fully vaccinated (including Kennel Cough), microchipped, and neutered. A home visit and adoption fee apply, and potential adopters must be willing to travel to our North Cork kennels to meet him in person.
