He came into our care from the CSPCA in August 2025 after being found half-starved. As nobody was showing him any interest at the CSPCA, we couldn't leave him behind, and now he is ready to find his forever castle! 🏰❤️ Fiachra is a striking lad who looks confident at first glance, but he still has a slightly sensitive side and is looking for a family to help him continue building his confidence. Here is what you need to know about this big, handsome boy: ✨ PERSONALITY & TEMPERAMENT * ☀️ Fair-Weather Friend: Fiachra absolutely hates the rain! If it's pouring outside, he will literally bury his head in his bed to avoid going out. 🛋️🌧️ * 🗣️ Vocal & Expressive: He isn't overly needy, but he likes to let you know he's there when he wants a bit of attention! * 🧠 Confidence Building: While he appears self-assured, he is still finding his feet and needs a patient owner. * 👶 Older Families Only: Because of his impressive height, he could easily knock a small child over by accident. He is best suited to a family with older children. 🐕 COMPATIBILITY & HOME SETTING * 👑 King of the Castle: Fiachra wants to be your one and only! He needs a home with no other dogs. * 🐈 Cats: He is not cat-friendly. * 🌳 Ideal Location: Best suited to a more rural area where he can enjoy quiet walks and express himself freely.
