🐾 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: MEET EVE! 🐾 Eve has been with us since April 2023 after being abandoned by her previous owners. Having spent two birthdays in our care, this incredibly loyal, affectionate girl is more than ready to finally find her forever sofa! 🛋️❤️ Eve is a beautiful soul who forms deep, loving bonds. She has spent time in a foster home where she settled quickly, proving that she is fully housetrained and absolutely loves to cuddle up for a cosy snooze. Here is everything you need to know about Eve: ✨ PERSONALITY & PLAY * 💖 Affectionate & Loyal: She absolutely adores the people she knows and is a wonderful, devoted companion. * 🎾 Toy Fanatic: Eve loves to play! Fetch and tug-of-war are her absolute favorites. * 🧠 Eager to Learn: She responds brilliantly to training, is highly food-motivated, and always wants to please. * 🏠 Great House Manners: Housetrained, crate-trained, and has no separation anxiety. 🐕 COMPATIBILITY & DOG MANNERS * 🏡 Current Foster: Eve currently lives happily in foster care with two lurchers (one male, one female) and gets on great with both. * 🐾 Dog Selectivity: She has successfully shared kennel space with many dogs. She doesn't like all dogs, but there is no specific pattern (breed, size, or sex). Her absolute favorites are playful, energetic dogs! We will know straight away during a meet-and-greet if she matches with your resident dog. * 🐈 Cats: Eve is not cat-friendly. 🦮 WALKS & LEAD BEHAVIOR * 🚀 Energy Levels: She needs a couple of decent walks a day, OR a home with a playful, energetic dog to burn off energy with. * 🦮 On the Lead: She walks excellently on a Halti. However, she gets very excited when seeing new things and will bark/pull hard at other dogs on-lead out of frustrated excitement (non-aggressive). Off-lead in a secure kennel yard, she plays perfectly. 🏡 THE IDEAL HOME FOR EVE * 🌳 Location: Strictly a quiet, rural, or country area. Busy environments overwhelm her. * 👥 Household: Best suited for one person or a calm couple with no busy streams of visitors. * 🤫 Sensitivities: While generally friendly, if strangers approach her too fast or use a pushy, loud voice, she can find it threatening and will bark. She needs an owner who understands her boundaries. * ⏳ Settling In: Eve needs a patient home that will give her time to settle in slowly, keeping life low-key without too many hectic adventures to begin with. 🧼 HEALTH & VETTING * 💉 Spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated (inc. Kennel Cough), and fully flea/worm treated. 📍 ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS * 📍 We are based in North Cork. * 🚗 Adopters must be willing to travel to our kennels to meet Eve (and bring your family dog for a match-test, if applicable). * 🏡 A secure, enclosed garden is required. * 📝 Home visit and adoption fee apply.
