Brent

Description

Brent is a whippy lurcher, only 22 inches high. When he first arrived, he was very underweight, and his back leg was degloved. Brent is all healed now.

Brent was very nervous initially when he arrived. In new settings, he can still be unsure; because of this, he could be a flight risk if he got loose. Extra care must be taken with Brent. He is very friendly and wants to be very affectionate but it will take him time to build his confidence. Brilliant with all dogs. Brent needs a quieter area to live, a more rural setting, with another dog to live with so he can gain confidence with them, showing him the way. Teenagers upwards for this boy, as they would be more savvy with a nervous dog who is a flight risk; there is less chance of a door being opened without thinking. Brent needs a bit of time to settle into a new environment. Brent is fully vaccinated inc Kennel Cough, chipped, and Neutered. Home visit and adoption fee apply; a very secure garden is required. Please note we are in North Cork and adopters must be willing to travel to our kennels to meet the dog.
