He is a beautiful 8-year-old Cavachon who is a truly fabulous little dog looking for a calm, relaxed retirement home. 🛋️✨ Frisco is a very friendly boy, but he is a proud little character who likes his own space. He isn't a dog who enjoys a lot of fuss or handling, and he will thrive best in a quiet household where he can just do his own thing! Here is everything you need to know about Frisco: ✨ PERSONALITY & TEMPERAMENT * ⏳ Building Trust: Frisco needs a little bit of time to trust a new family. Once he knows you, he is incredibly loving and loves attention—but he is never needy! * 🧠 Super Smart: He is highly intelligent, and food treats work absolute wonders for his training. * 🚗 Great Companion: He walks beautifully on the lead and travels like a dream in the car. * 🌆 Adaptable: He is happy to live in either a busy urban area or a quiet rural setting. 🐕 COMPATIBILITY & HOME SETTING * 🤫 Quiet Household Only: Frisco is not suitable for a home with any children or a busy, hectic house with lots of visitors. * 🐶 Other Dogs: He can potentially live with another easygoing, calm dog, depending on a successful meet-and-greet at our kennels. * 🐈 Cats: He is looking for a home with no cats. 🧼 HEALTH, GROOMING & MANNERS * ✂️ Grooming: As a Cavachon, he will require professional grooming approximately every 10 weeks to keep his coat looking its best. * 🦷 Health: He recently had a full veterinary dental check, and 9 teeth were extracted. He is now feeling much happier and healthier! * 🚽 Housetraining: He is spotlessly clean in his kennel, so housetraining should be no issue, though he may do a small bit of marking to begin with as he settles. * 💉 Fully vaccinated (inc. Kennel Cough), microchipped, and neutered. 📍 ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS * 📍 We are based in North Cork. * 🚗 Adopters must be willing to travel to our kennels to meet Frisco (and bring your family dog if you have one). * 🏡 A secure, enclosed garden is required. * 📝 Home visit and adoption fee apply.
