🐾 ZACH NEEDS A SPECIAL HOME 🐾 Zach is only 6/7 months old and is looking for a very experienced and dedicated foster or forever home. He is a very anxious boy who has developed reactivity towards men. With people he knows and trusts, he is affectionate, loving and a total cuddle bug. ❤️ Zach needs: 🏡 Rural, secure home 🐾 Breed experience 🧠 Experience with anxious/reactive dogs 🤝 Willingness to work with a behaviourist 🚫 No children ❤️ Patience, understanding and commitment He can live with cats and potentially a calm, confident dog. This is not an easy placement. We need someone sensible and committed who understands that Zach’s progress will take time. Please only apply if you meet all of his criteria. Our priority is finding Zach the right home and preventing another return to kennels. ❤️🐾

💚🩵🐾 ZACH – LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL FOREVER/FOSTER HOME 🐾🩵💚 Do you want to give a dog a real chance? Are you ready for a challenge? Would you like to make a difference to a dog who genuinely needs someone to believe in him? Zach is only 6/7 months old. He is still a baby, but he is an extremely anxious young dog who has developed significant reactivity towards men. We believe a combination of his genetics, anxiety and a lack of appropriate socialisation during his early puppyhood has contributed to the behaviour we are seeing as he has grown. But Zach is not defined by his reactivity. With the people he knows and trusts, Zach is affectionate, loving and a complete cuddle bug. ❤️ What Zach needs now is the right person who understands that helping him will take time, patience, consistency and commitment. We are looking for a foster or foster-with-a-view-to-adopt/forever home who meets ALL of the following criteria: 🏡 Rural home 🐾 Genuine breed experience and love of the breed 🧠 Experience with anxious/reactive dogs 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 No children, with a safe and appropriate place for Zach to be if children visit 🌳 Secure garden 🤝 Willing to work alongside a qualified behaviourist ❤️ Patient, sensible and completely committed ⏳ Understanding that progress will take time and cannot be rushed Zach can live with cats and potentially a calm, confident dog who can help give him reassurance and something positive to learn from. We are being very careful about where Zach goes. The last thing we want is for him to leave kennels, begin to settle and then find himself back there because the placement wasn’t prepared for his needs. Another return to kennels would be extremely detrimental to Zach. This isn’t about finding someone who wants the easiest dog. It’s about finding someone who looks at Zach and thinks: “I can give this boy the time and chance he needs.” ❤️ If you genuinely have the experience, environment and commitment Zach requires, please get in touch.
