Ren is a 2–3yr old Collie who came to us nervous and unsocialised. With time and patience his affectionate, fun personality has shone through.

✨ Ren – our beautiful brown-eyed collie boy looking for his forever home ✨ Ren is a 2–3 year old Collie who has been with us for a number of months, and in that time he has completely stolen our hearts. He came to us from the pound as a very nervous, unsocialised boy. Ren had never walked on a lead, and it was clear he had likely never experienced life in a home environment. The world was overwhelming, and he didn’t yet know that people could be kind. We gave Ren time. Time to decompress. Time to feel safe. Time to learn that he was no longer alone. Slowly… beautifully… his personality began to shine through. And when it did, it was magical. ✨ Ren is now showing us the affectionate, gentle, fun-loving soul he truly is. His absolute favourite thing in the world is toys – he is rarely seen without one in his mouth and it never fails to make us smile. They give him confidence, comfort and pure joy. Lead walking was one of Ren’s biggest challenges. Anything near his head was terrifying for him, but through patience and trust he has grown in confidence. He can now walk reasonably well, though he still has some way to go – and he will need a home willing to continue supporting him gently and positively. Ren loves other dogs, but any female dogs in the home would need to be spayed, as Ren is not currently neutered. We are looking for a truly special, 5-star, breed-experienced home for Ren. He will be a project dog, there is no hiding that — but the reward will far outweigh the effort. Watching Ren learn, grow and finally feel safe is one of the most beautiful journeys you could ever be part of. Ren is not broken. Ren is not difficult.
