Poor Raven suffered a heartbreaking setback that could have broken even the strongest spirit. There were moments when we didn’t know what the future would look like. But Raven never gave up… and neither did Shadow. She stayed by her side. As Raven fought to recover, Shadow quietly remained her comfort, her confidence and her safe place. Now, after months of love, patience and rehabilitation, Raven is thriving. She’s getting stronger every day, she’s about to begin physiotherapy, and together these girls have shown us what resilience really looks like. They’re ready. Ready to leave rescue behind. Ready to stop being “the girls in foster.” Ready to finally become somebody’s family. But there’s one thing we could never ask of them. To lose each other. These girls have already lost enough. So they are looking for a home where they can stay together, forever. Raven is the clown of the pair. She’ll proudly carry her teddy around the house, bringing it to you as though she’s presenting you with treasure. She’s incredibly clever, loves learning, adores cuddles and greets every day with joy. She can be unsure when strangers reach straight for her, but offer her a treat and you’ll see her heart melt within moments. Shadow is the gentle soul. The quiet comfort. The girl who asks for so little but gives so much. She loves curling up beside you on the sofa, enjoys her walks, her chews and simply being close to the people she loves. Watching her confidence grow has been one of rescue’s greatest rewards. Together they are everything you’d want in companions. Fully crate trained. Toilet trained. Lead trained. Dog friendly. Loving. Affectionate. Ready. The only thing missing… …is you. Every night they fall asleep together. Every morning they wake up together. We desperately want the rest of their lives to look the same.
