Meet Ellie 🤍 Sweet Ellie is a 7-year-old ex-puppy farm girl who is finally getting the chance to discover what it means to be loved. Life hasn’t been kind to Ellie. Having spent years being used for breeding, the world is still a very scary place for her. She is a gentle, timid soul who needs a patient family willing to let her learn at her own pace that people can be kind and home can be safe. Ellie will need a calm, quiet home with another friendly, confident dog to help guide her and show her the ropes. A canine companion is essential for this lovely girl as she takes comfort and confidence from other dogs. She could live with sensible children aged 8 years and over who understand that Ellie needs space, patience and kindness while she settles in. As she is still learning about family life, we’d love to find a home where someone is around for most of the day to help her adjust and continue building her confidence. Ellie won’t be the dog who rushes into your arms on day one, but if you can give her the time she needs, watching her blossom into the dog she was always meant to be will be one of the most rewarding experiences.
