🐾💙 MEET DOUGLAS – LOOKING FOR HIS SPECIAL SOMEONE 💙🐾 Douglas is a 3–4-year-old crossbreed who has a lovely sweet and affectionate side, but he’s also a boy who needs a little understanding and patience. Douglas can struggle with handling, particularly around vets, unfamiliar people and children. For this reason, we feel he would thrive best in a quiet, calm and sensible adult-only home where nothing is rushed and he’s allowed to settle at his own pace. But please don’t let his little quirks overshadow all the wonderful qualities this boy has to offer! ❤️ With people he knows and trusts, Douglas is friendly, affectionate and full of character. He walks beautifully on the lead, shows no reactivity when out and about, and he’s a clever boy who would love learning new tricks, exploring and keeping his little mind busy. We’re looking for someone who can see beyond his initial reservations and give him the time and reassurance he needs to flourish. 🏡 Douglas would suit: * An adult-only home. * Someone experienced with rescue or anxious dogs. * A kind, patient and understanding family. * A quiet home where he won’t be overwhelmed. * Potentially another dog following a successful introduction. * Cats are untested, but this can be explored for a suitable home. Douglas isn’t looking for a busy household or a family who expects instant perfection.
