💙 Sky’s Sky-High Hopes for a Forever Home 🐾 Meet our handsome Sky, a six-year-old Border Collie who is waiting for someone to see the wonderful dog we know is hiding behind his nervousness. 💙 Sky is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is a lovely boy, but he is very nervous and timid, and life in kennels can be overwhelming for him. Because of this, Sky needs more than just a loving home — he needs someone who understands nervous dogs and is willing to put the time and effort into helping him find his confidence. ❤️ We are looking for an experienced owner who is patient, understanding and committed to working with Sky, helping him slowly come out of his shell and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. He will need someone who can give him time, space and reassurance, without expecting too much from him too soon. Confidence won’t happen overnight, but with the right person by his side, we believe Sky has so much potential. Once he feels safe and begins to trust you, we hope to see that wonderful personality shine through. 🥹🐾 Sky doesn’t need to be rushed or pushed. He needs someone who is prepared to walk alongside him, celebrate the little steps forward and give him the time he needs to settle, build trust and discover just how good life can be. 🏡❤️ Due to his needs, any children in the home must be aged 15 years or older. Sky really is a great dog. He just needs that special person who is experienced, patient and willing to put the work in to help him come out of his shell. We know that person is out there. 💙🐾
