🐾 Koni Needs a Little Dachshund TLC! 💕 Meet our gorgeous girl Koni, a six-year-old Dachshund who is hoping her forever home is just around the corner. 🐾❤️ Koni has had her first vaccination and is microchipped. As part of the adoption process, she will also be spayed by our vets. Koni is a timid little girl, and the hustle and bustle of rescue life can be quite overwhelming for her. She isn’t the type of dog who will immediately rush over looking for fuss — Koni needs time to get to know you and, most importantly, to learn that she is safe. We’re looking for a patient, understanding and loving home who will allow Koni to settle in at her own pace. Her new family will need to give her plenty of time, space and gentle encouragement, without expecting too much too soon. With patience and kindness, we hope to see her confidence grow and her lovely personality shine through. 🌸 As with many Dachshunds, Koni may be small in size but she certainly has the potential to have a big personality! Dachshunds are clever, affectionate and loyal little dogs, but they can also be independent and determined characters. Her new family should be prepared to give her the guidance, patience and reassurance she needs. 🏡 Koni’s ideal home: 🐶 She can live with other dogs, pending a successful meeting 👧 She can live with dog-savvy children aged 8 years and over ❤️ A patient home willing to give her time to decompress and build confidence 🌿 A family who understands that earning her trust may take time, but will be incredibly rewarding Koni may need a little time before she feels confident enough to show you her true self, but we know that somewhere out there is a family who will happily wait for those little steps forward. 🥹💕 Sometimes the smallest dogs need the biggest hearts — and Koni is looking for exactly that. ❤️
