🐾 Heidi Needs a Little “Heidi” Time 💕 🐾 Meet the beautiful four-year-old long-haired Dachshund, Heidi. 🐶💗 Heidi is a very nervous little girl, and she is going to need someone truly special to help her discover that the world isn’t such a scary place. She has received her first vaccination and is microchipped. As part of the adoption process, Heidi will also be spayed by one of our vets. 🏡 Heidi’s ideal home: 🐾 She can live with other dogs, pending a successful meeting. 👧 Children must be 12 years and over, and dog savvy — they will need to understand the importance of giving Heidi plenty of space, patience and time to decompress while she settles into her new surroundings. ❤️ Most importantly, Heidi needs a patient and committed adopter who understands that confidence won’t happen overnight. Heidi may need some time before she feels comfortable enough to show her true personality. She’ll need someone willing to take things slowly, celebrate the little milestones and never rush her. With patience, consistency and lots of love, we hope Heidi can gradually come out of her shell and learn just how wonderful life can be. 🥹❤️ This little Dachshund has so much potential, but she needs someone prepared to give her the time and commitment she deserves.
