Toby is a beautiful and loving boy seeking his forever home. He is a friendly boy who loves attention, he can be a little shy at times but he soon comes around. He came into rescue due to a change in his owners circumstances. Toby is great with other dogs of all sizes and would benefit from a home with another dog. He currently has been living with Bandit. Toby has been raised with kids, but would be best suited to a home with kids 8yrs+. He walks well on the lead in general, but can be a little shy at times, but this will continue to improve with repeated walks and exposure. He is growing in confidence daily. He loves going down to our offlead play field and playing with the other dogs, he also LOVES chasing squeaky tennis balls, but never fetches them back for me. 🤣 In general he is a very fun boy. Tobys owner had him living in a kennel setup so he will require some house training initially and would be best suited to a home where someone is home alot initially. Though he does settle if he is with another dog, he does cry and bark if he thinks I'm going down the field without him. He travels well in the car, we normally just pop a cosy bed in a crate and he curls up for a nap. In general he is just a wonderful whippet. He is currently a little underweight but has started to gain weight now in rescue. He loves his food.
