Lola is a beautiful big teddy bear who just needs a suitable forever home.

Lola is a lovely big girl, who just loves people. Once she bonds with you, she is like your shadow. Lola is great in the house and has been used to living in a loving home most of her life. So she would really love to find a new home to spend the rest of her life. Lola does mix with other dogs here at the rescue and can socialise with other dogs on a one to one basis with the correct introductions. She can be nervous with other dogs at times, so introducing new dogs to her has to be done properly. Lola would love a home as the only dog, as she deserves to have all the attention. Whilst Lola has lived with kids previously, she does have food guarding issues around feed times and bones, so a home with teens and over is required, so that this behaviour can be successfully managed. (Please dont let this put you off, her families have all said she is an amazing girl, this behaviour can be easily managed.) Lola is not suitable around cats or small animals. She would be best in a more rural or quiet area as she can be reactive on lead at times, she doesnt like strange dogs running into her space when on walks. We can cover some training costs to help with this issue. True to the Akita in her mix, she is very loyal to her family and would love a family who will be equally as loyal to her. We really need this next home to be her forever home.
