Description

Super fun, loving and sweet greyhound seeking her forever home.

The beautiful girl is Ivy Blue, she came into our care along with her sister as they werent fast enough for racing. Her sister has since found her new home and Miss Ivy Blue would love to find hers. She is good with other dogs and could live with another dog pending meet and greet, she is also ok as the only dog if there is someone around most of the day. She will require someone who can build up her leaving times slowly as she living in a home will all be new to her, but hopefully if she is anything like her sister it wont take her long to settle and enjoy the home comforts. She will need house training, but in general greyhounds do tend to be not super hard to train, her sister has been doing amazingly in her new home. Ivy walks well on the lead and in general is a very well mannered girl, she is great with people and could live with dog savy kids ideally 8yrs and older. She is very much a pup still, and you can see this in her playful and fun nature, she hasnt learnt how to play with her toys just yet, but she knows chasing her squeaky tennis ball is quite fun. Greyhounds in general make amazing additions to most families, due to their gentle natures. Often after a walk or run they tend to spend most of their day sleeping or relaxing on any cosy bed or sofa they can find. Crate training may be benefical during the settling in period as it will allow her to have her own little den to retreat too. If you have any other questions we are happy to answer them before or during a meet and greet.
