Cookie is a sweet and loving girl who is seeking a forever home.

Cookie is a sweet and loving little lady who is seeking a forever home. She was rescued by a kind lady, before that we don't know what sort of life she had as she is a timid girl who can be easily startled at times. She is shy when she first meets you, but does come around fairly quickly with cuddles and attention. Her ideal home would be a lady who is seeking a best friend and constant companion, as she will follow you everywhere once she has gotten to know you. She is good with dog savvy children, 8yrs and over who will allow her time to settle in and feel safe. She is most nervous of men, so a house without a man would be great, or she could have a man if they are understanding and willing to be patient and loving with her. She is ok with other dogs of a similar size or those who have a more calm nature. She can get scared or overwhelmed by bigger or more boisterous dogs. Cookie has never been used to a lead, so currently she is learning to walk on a harness. She is getting braver each day, but she will need continued time and patience as her confidence slowly grows. She is a very good girl, so far she is very settled in the house, she will offcourse need some degree of house training. She is crate trained and we leave her crate open for her to have a safe space to retreat to if she needs it. She is a wonderful little girl, who just needs lots of love and cuddles. She just lacks confidence and needs some time and understanding. She hasn't a bad bone in her little body, already we can see her sweet personality shinning through.
