Ruffle is the sweetest little guy who loves to play chase with his toys, lean in for cuddles, and be held close. He’s affectionate, gentle, and full of fun — the kind of kitten who makes you smile just by being himself. During his vet check, a small change was noticed in the reflective layer at the back of his eyes. It gives a “glittery” appearance, and while it might be linked to future changes in his vision, it’s not a diagnosis and may never affect him at all. Even in the worst‑case scenario, cats adapt incredibly well — their hearing, whiskers, and sense of smell take over naturally, and they navigate their world with confidence. We’ve cared for kittens with limited or no vision before, and they run, climb, play, and live full, happy lives. Because of this, Ruffle will need an indoor‑only home, but that was always his preference anyway — he’s a cosy, people‑loving boy who thrives with companionship.
