Hazel is a beautiful Cocker Spaniel girl who has clearly had more than her fair share of litters. We don’t know her story. We weren’t there to see what life looked like for her before she landed in the pound, so we won’t pretend we know her past. But we do know what we saw. We saw a wee girl with the saddest little face, sitting waiting day after day, wondering what was happening to her. And after spending weeks unclaimed in the pound, the moment she got into foster her wee face softened. She hasn’t stopped smiling since she got out ❤️ It’s moments like this that remind us exactly why we do what we do 🥹 And, as FOR always does, we rallied together in just 24 hours and managed to get two of our OG foster families back in the game after a little time away. Having them back helping these wee souls is honestly so special ❤️ Hazel is now safe, warm, loved and finally getting the chance to discover what being someone’s cherished pet actually feels like. This beautiful girl will be spayed this week, and we’ll get all of her outstanding medical work taken care of too ✔️ Hazel likes other dogs, she’s good with kids, she leaves the kitties alone and, from everything we’ve seen so far, she is genuinely going to make an amazing family pet. All Hazel needs now is someone who will look at that wee smile and promise her a full happy life
