Description

Sockie is a very friendly girl who just needs a commited forever home.

This beautiful girl is Sockie, she has come into our care from the dog pound. After finding herself in the pound three times in her young life. Sockie is a very friendly girl who just wants to be close and getting attention. She mixes well with other dogs of all sizes and loves a good game of chase. She is child friendly and previously lived happily with children. She loves snuggling up on the sofa and in general in the home she is a very settled and well behaved girl. She has been house trained and crate trained, but offcourse you do have to allow her some grace during her first week or two in a new home as its a stressful time. She is ok being left alone for a few hours at a time. A home with another dog would be preferred but is not essential. She is a smart girl who knows how to sit on command, and is eager to learn new tricks in exchange for attention or tasty treats. She walks good in quiet areas, but she does need some lead training as she can become over excited in more busier areas or when she see's dogs on walks. Some positive dog training will certainly help her lead walking. We are happy to help towards some dog training with a positive reinforcement trainer. Sockie is a fun girl, who will require a secure garden. She is not suitable with cats or around livestock as she finds them to exciting and would offcourse chase them if allowed too.
