Maisie is a good girl, seeking a suitable forever home.
Maisie is a beautiful German shepherd x Husky, she was raised in a loving family home but sadly after an incident with one of the small dogs in the house, she has found herself seeking a new home. She could live with another medium/large dog pending a meet and greet. But she would also be more than happy to be the only dog in the home where she can get all the attention. Not suitable to live with small dogs or cats. But fine with other dogs of all sizes when out on walks.She really loves people and getting attention, she previously lived in a home with teenagers and had no issues at all, so could live in a home with kids ideally 12yrs+ based on her size. She does walk pretty well on the lead, and in general is a very good girl. She was fully house trained, but has been in kennels currently so might need a little refreshing. She isnt a big fan of the kennels sadly, though she has settled down, she does find it overwhelming at times so it would be nice to have her settled in a suitable home.
Maisie would be the perfect companion for an active family who likes the outdoors, she would love going for long walks, hikes up the mountains etc. She may need someone home alot initally who can help her settle back into a home and routine.
