Axel is a strikingly handsome German Shepherd with a zest for life and a heart full of love. Though he's a mature gentleman, he’s still playful and full of spirit. His recall is excellent, and he adores his walks, making him a joy to have by your side.
Axel was surrendered with his lifelong friend, Heidi, another beautiful Shepherd. These two have shared their lives together and ideally, we’d love to see them spend their golden years side by side in a peaceful retirement home. We know it’s a big ask, but their bond is truly special.
Both Axel and Heidi have lived with children and a cat, and they’ve shown they can fit well into a loving family environment. As seniors, they do show some typical signs of aging—such as arthritis and hip dysplasia—but that certainly doesn’t slow them down or dim their sparkle.
These two deserve a soft landing, lots of cuddles, and a calm home where they can continue to thrive.
