Description

Hatchi is a lovely boy seeking a suitable forever home.

Hatchi is a beautiful boy who has been through a few homes in his young life before we got him, so we would love to find him his forever home. His recent owner had to surrender him through no fault of Hatchi or the family, they had a change in family circumstances. Hatchi is a very sweet boy, he is good with people and loves attention, he can be shy with some people at first but he comes around very quickly. He would be best in a home with kids 12yrs and over. But kids as young as 8yrs may be considered if they have a smart and respectful approach to dogs. Hatchi is ok with other dogs, but he can be anxious which can cause him to be very vocal and scared of some dogs until he gets used to them. He much prefers dogs who arent in his face all the time. In our home he is currently sharing with two other dogs no problem. So could potentially live with another dog pending successful meet and greet. Hatchi is naturally a more nervous boy in general, so will need a patient loving home willing to give him time to settle in. He settled in to our home very quickly, but every home is different. He walks well on the lead, but again due to being nervous he would likely react if an offlead dog was to run up into his space. He just hasnt had alot of socialisation, so will take time to learn and grow in confidence. But we are seeing improvements every day. Hatchi has been quite settled in our home, not destructive or anything. He is also happy to sleep in a crate overnight if required. But he will need some house training initally, as he settles and adjusts to a new home and routine.
