Description

Beautiful and special girl seeking a suitable forever home.

This beautiful girl is Daphne and she is a very unique and beautiful Collie x Welsh Sheep dog. Daphne is DEAF, so requires a secure and loving home. A secure garden is required, as she offcourse cant hear so if not enclosed she could easily run off or get lost. She is very friendly with people and kids, she is also dog friendly with dogs of various sizes. She previously lived with cats and whilst she didnt harm any of them, she did often like to chase them, so maybe not ideal for a home with cats. She is a fairly settled and well behaved girl in the house, but she will require house training and some other basic puppy training. She is doing well with her lead training, but can be nervous sometimes. She is a snuggle bug and loves being closed to her humans. Whilst she is dog friendly, she can be overwhelmed initally if a dog is overly bouncy in her face, but once she has gotten used to them she is great and is currenly sharing our home happily with two other dogs. She might prefer a home as the only dog though so she can get all the one on one attention she deserves. Daphne was rehomed for a few days but got returned due to nipping behaviours that had suddenly arouse, it has been determined that it was due to stress. As she had gone from a quiet country area, to a very busy built up area in the city and she was acting out of stress. So in her next home she will need a home where she can have some quiet time to adjust and decompress and get used to her new humans and home before worrying about bringing into many new visitors or going on too many walks and adventures. Offcourse full training support will be given, to help her settle into her new home.
