Meet Ruby, a 2.5-year-old Staffie X who's on the lookout for her perfect forever home!
Ruby was found as a stray, and after doing her time in the pound, a wonderful home stepped forward to adopt her. Sadly her current family loves her but feels they aren’t the best match and believe her dream home is still out there.
Ruby is fully housetrained and, while she can be strong on the lead at first, she settles down after the first ten minutes of a walk. She doesn’t react to dogs or people while out on walks, which makes her an easy walking companion. Ruby is unsure of traffic and this is being worked on to build up her confidence. Ruby is a big cuddle bug and loves belly rubs and turns out to be a total velcro dog after only a short period of time!
After the tumultuous past 8 weeks, we want to find Ruby a home where she can settle down, decompress, and truly become part of the family. While we don’t know much about her background, she would do best in a home with Staffie experience to help her feel safe and secure. She’s also not a fan of chicken or cats and a home without small critters would be best unless the new home will put in the work to train her. Ruby has so much love to give to the right person or family.
