Tori & Ghost Need Separate Homes Before It's Too Late
We'd like to introduce you to Tori and Ghost, two special dogs who urgently need new homes. Their current place in kennels will come to an end by the end of August, and after that, they face the heartbreaking reality of being sent to the pound with little hope of leaving it again.
Tori is a 7-year-old spayed female Staffy. She’s a calm and laid-back companion who loves walks and cuddles. While Tori is friendly with adults, she can be a bit nervous and vocal around children. She gets along well with other dogs, but would thrive in a home where she can have her own space. Tori enjoys her food and sometimes shows guarding behavior, especially with bones.
Ghost is a 4-5 year old male Doggo Argentino who hasn’t been neutered yet but we will be helping with the cover of neutering cost in his new home. He has a nervous and timid nature, often showing fear towards new sounds and situations, but he’s incredibly gentle and submissive. Ghost has a lot of energy, though his anxiety may have prevented him from fully learning how to play like a typical dog. He has previously lived in a family with small children and would benefit from a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe.
While Tori and Ghost have lived together, the best setup for them now would be to find two separate homes where they can each receive the individual attention and care they need.
Please note, these dogs are not in the care of the CDPA Dog Team and have not been assessed by CDPA. All information provided comes from the current owner. The CDPA Dog Team will function only as a point of contact to connect the owner with potential new homes and scheduling of mandatory vet work should a suitable new home present itself.
