Bonnie is a big friendly girl looking for a forever family. With her intelligence and natural athletic ability she would excel at dog sports and obedience.

🐕🧡 Bonnie 🧡🐕 Everyone meet Bonnie. Bonnie is our almost 2 Year old bully-lurcher mix gal who is dreaming of a home to call her own. Bonnie was originally rehomed by us 18 months ago and was recently returned due to an altercation with the resident dog. Bonnie is a lovely, lively, energetic gal who doesn’t realise that she is not a puppy 😂 She loves having a run off lead and she loves playing and engaging with her humans as she is so eager to please. We think Bonnie would be perfect for anyone interested in training and some dog sports such as agility, mantrailing, scentwork, the list is endless. Bonnie has been having some training in foster to be more aware of her size and not to jump up but whoever adopts her will need to continue this on. Bonnie has been perfect with all dogs she is residing with in foster and dogs she has met out and about. She is a lovely happy girl who loves a play and a chase with other dogs. She has also lived peacefully with cats and really doesn’t pay them much attention. Bonnie knows basic commands. We would love to find her a home where someone is about for most of the time to settle her in as she does have some separation anxiety. We would love to find her a home with some experience of bull breeds or larger breed dogs. We are also seeking a home with older, dog savvy kids. Although, Bonnie is lovely natured with children - as stated, she has absolutely no awareness that she is not a smol tiny puppy and would accidentally tumble small kids 🙈 Overall Bonnie is a happy, healthy, lively gal. She really deserves a chance. Often in rescue, bully breeds and their mixes are quite overlooked so we hope Bonnie doesn’t have to wait too long to find her hoomans. She really is a lovely, loving, loyal gal and would be an excellent dog for an outdoorsy person or family who would like to do a little bit more with their pet.
