We got a message just before the Christmas holidays from Offaly Pound, 2 lurchers needed out as their time was more than up. Hastings was one of the lurchers.

Hastings is a lovely, lively, friendly boy, approximately 2 years old. He loves people and the attention humans give him. He has the most beautiful long snout. Hastings can be a bit jumpy on the lead when he gets excited, but no harm whatsoever in him; he is just delighted to go out for a walk. As he is tall, children 10 years and above are better suited as he could knock over little ones. He tries his very best to keep his kennel clean, so housetraining should be easy enough. Hastings could live with another dog of similar size; they would need to meet a little bit initially. Smaller dogs or cats in the home are not advisable at the moment. He could live in rural or urban settings. He will be a lovely addition to any family. He will probably take over the couch. Hastings really is a charming boy who deserves his chance now. Hastings is fully vaccinated inc Kennel Cough, chipped and Neutered. Home visit and adoption fee apply, a secure garden is required. Please note we are in North Cork and adopters must be willing to travel to our kennels to meet the dog.
