Eric was originally born in our care on New Years Day 2024, sadly he was returned to us in November 2025. The home did not suit him the children stressed him.

Eric is a big and lively dog stunning saluki who just turned 2 on 1st January. He will definitely require a large area with high enough fencing /walls because he may be likely to jump over otherwise. For the most part he is quite friendly but still a little bit nervous when he meets new people or if something unexpected happens. He likes a routine and structure in his day. Eric can be reactive to other dogs and be strong on the lead if one barks or reacts to him for that reason we feel its best he is an only dog. He is clean in his kennel so housetraining will be no problem plus he came from a home. He Isn’t cat friendly. I think children will definitely have to be older teenagers upwards so they understand to not to get him anxious. He is a really lovely dog for someone who can give him what he needs. Eric is neutered, chipped, fully vaccinated including kennel cough. Home visit and adoption fee applies. We are based in North Cork potential adopter will be required to come to the kennels.
