Sonic

Description

Sonic is an ex racing greyhound who turned 2 years old on 15th September.

Sonic is a great boy and loves company of his own size. He is 26 inches to his shoulder. Sonic is very happy to be living in a foster home. He loves his comforts and found the sofa quickly. Sonic settled immediately, sleeping through the night in his crate and figured out his toilet training straight away. He loves his food and is very good in the house about food. So far he has not helped himself to any of our food and he’s eager to try new tastes. Sonic is so affectionate and he loves all people. He gives wonderful cuddles. He loves going in the car and will jump in himself. He gets very excited when it’s time for walks and he’s impatient to get going. He would prefer not to wear his coat but is tolerant when it is on. Sonic has no fears when he’s out walking, not bothered by busy traffic or sirens or noisy trucks. He’s very strong on the lead and wants to meet all other dogs when he sees them. He’s not cat or small dog friendly and can get excited on the lead when he sees them out and about. He will try to catch crows and pigeons in the garden or if he walks past them while on lead. Sonic walks perfectly with other greyhounds when we meet on Saturdays. He has lots of stamina and enjoys long walks every day. He is happy to stay home alone for short periods of time and has never created a fuss. He will play ball and play with soft toys and he has not been destructive with any toys. He’s a very loving, friendly, cuddly dog and with some lead training he’ll be perfect.🤩 Whoever adopts him will need to be careful of any small animals which might come into his area. He is quite tall so no young small children as they could easily get knocked over. Sonic is fully vaccinated inc Kennel Cough, chipped and Neutered. Home visit and adoption fee apply, secure garden required. Please note we are in North Cork and adopters must be willing to travel to our kennels to meet the dog.
