Tate is a beautiful blue brindle boy who is ready for a home to call his own.
Tate is in a foster home and this is what his family have to say about him: Tate is a super dog. Very friendly and outgoing when out and about. Loves every one and every dog he meets, without being in their face or too much.
Walks really well on the lead, he trots away beside you. He’s confident wherever we walk. Will 100% chase a cat if given the chance.
In the house he is calm and relaxed. He follows me about and lies nearby relaxing during the day and happily sleeps on the couch in the evenings.
He is quite playful too, he loves chasing toys.
The one thing is when he’s in a playful mood or if the kids are messing about in the house, he wants to join in and can get a bit mouthy with them, just trying to play but something maybe to bear in mind if someone has small kids. I give him a toy and normally that does the trick but if not I pop him in the crate for a few minutes and he settles down again.
He is spotless in the house, hasn’t had a single accident around the house. He is still a small bit hit and miss in the crate overnight with accidents but getting better.
He sleeps all night in the crate without a problem. He’s not a massive fan of it during the day but he does go in and he is quiet in there.
I’ve left him for probably under 4 hours during the day in there. I think if he was being left longer than that he might need the company of another dog? Just because he is so social.
He’s good in the car too, just a super all round dog!
Tate is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated including KC, worm and flea treated.
Home visit and adoption fee apply.
Please note Tate is in foster in East Cork and adopters must be willing to travel to meet him and if applicable bring their own dog with them.
