Heidi is overlooked every time and she is such a happy girl, is it because she is black and do not stand out.
Heidi was adopted from us when she was a puppy in 2016. Unfortunately she was returned to us in July 2022 as Heidi was not comfortable with their very young child born a few years after Heidi was adopted.
Heidi can be a bit reactive around other dogs when they’re passing her kennel but Heidi has shared her kennel space with other dogs and has lived with a male dog previously, so she can live with the right dog that’s a match for her. An easy going dog we feel is best suited to her but a meeting with the resident dog will tell us if they are compatible.
Heidi can be strong on the lead at times, a halti works very well. Heidi has lived with a cat, her family said she might chase a strange cat but that's all it is, it’s nothing malicious.
Heidi needs a home with no young children, teenagers upwards would be ideal.
Heidi is house trained and will sit and give the paw when asked, she is a very clever girl who learns quickly.
Heidi loves the water, and couldn’t be happier when having a splash around in any big puddles she can find.
Heidi really is a gorgeous girl, she deserves her chance at a happy ever after.
Heidi is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated including KC, worm and flea treated.
