Oakley is a 3 year old staffie who came to us from Waterford pound in November 2022, a stunning boy who is eager to please.

He is a boy that’s full of the joys of life. He loves getting out for his walks and he is pretty good on the lead once he settles himself, he’s always excited to get going and likes to bring a toy along with him. Oakley would like to have all of the attention for himself, he does like to get his own way, he will need a home where he is the only dog although he is great with all other dogs he meets he just wants his home all to himself. Oakley is a strong boy and will need someone who has experience of the breed and someone who will help him to understand boundaries. He will need a home with older teenagers upwards, and a home without cats. Oakley has some basic commands and this will need continued work. He loves his food and can be excitable when it arrives, but has learned to sit and wait now. Oakley is clean in his kennel. Once Oakley is safely secured on a back seat and he can poke his head out the window he is happy out to go for a spin in the car, he’s not comfortable travelling in a crate in a car. He’s doing very well in the kennels but we know this boy will really shine once he gets the opportunity of a home environment.
