Meet Fig – 10yrs young, tiny in size but huge in heart 💙🐾
Our little gentleman Fig is looking for a special home to help him on his journey. Despite everything he’s facing, Fig is happy, bright and full of life — you’d never know he has a care in the world.
About Fig
• Chihuahua, 10yrs+
• Can live with other dogs 🐕
• Could possibly live with cats 🐈
• Children 10+ (older boy who needs a gentle home)
Fig’s health
Fig needs a dental and he has a retained testicle which must be removed as it can become cancerous if left untreated. He is also underweight, which we hope is simply from his time straying and not receiving the care he deserved.
The biggest concern for our tiny man is a grade 5 heart murmur 💔. Sadly this cannot be fixed, but he has started medication to help slow progression and will need lifelong meds. This does make surgery higher risk, however after careful consideration we feel proceeding is in Fig’s best interest to keep him comfortable and pain free.
The important part… Fig himself 💫
He is sweet, loving, and still full of spark. Fig doesn’t know he’s “poorly” — he just knows he loves cuddles, comfort and kindness.
