Description
JP is a friendly tortoise who enjoys an equal mix of running round as fast as possible, and having a snooze under his heat. He loves exploring with his people.
Minimum required enclosure size: 4x2ft vivarium or tortoise table
Suitable for:
-sensible children of any age
-keepers of any experience level
JP would be a great introduction to reptile keeping as he is content to snooze the day away, but still explore when the opportunity arises. He enjoys having a large space to roam, so preference will be given to larger enclosures or a secure outdoor space for better weather.
As with all tortoises, he can nip if small fingers are put near his face, so care should be taken to supervise younger kids.
We do not rehome any tortoises to co-habbing situations. They are solitary creatures and do not want or need a friend in their territory.
