Fenn is a 14-month-old Cocker Spaniel who is looking for a very special foster home to help him on the next step of his journey.
Fenn is a sensitive, anxious boy who displays fear-based reactivity. New people can be overwhelming for him, so he will need a foster who is happy to do multiple, gentle meet-and-greets before bringing him home and who understands that trust takes time.
We are looking for an experienced foster, ideally someone with breed knowledge and hands-on experience with anxious or nervous dogs. Fenn would suit a quiet, adult-only home. He would prefer to be the only pet, but may be able to live with a calm, confident dog following a successful introduction.
Like many spaniels, Fenn loves to use his nose. He would truly thrive in a home that can meet both his mental and physical stimulation needs. Scent work, enrichment activities, and confidence-building classes would be wonderful for him and will help him channel his energy in a positive way.
Fenn is not a “quick fix” dog, but he is absolutely worth the time. With patience, kindness, and consistency, we believe he will grow in confidence and show just how special he is. In the right home, Fenn has every chance to flourish.
