Panda is a small dog who came into our care last year and has come a long way since. He’s now looking for a new, permanent home with people who understand that some dogs need time, patience, and structure to truly settle.
Panda can be wary with new people at first and needs space to warm up. Once he feels safe and knows what’s expected of him, he’s a lovely little dog who enjoys his routine and his people. He’s not a “straight in for cuddles” kind of dog, but give him time and consistency and you’ll see his softer side.
He’s clever and confident enough to push boundaries, so clear rules and follow-through are important. Panda does best in a calm home with experienced owners who are happy to stick to a routine. He thrives when life is predictable.
Panda would be best suited to a home with older children who understand how to respect a dog’s space. A secure garden is essential for him, even if it’s small, as he enjoys having a safe area to potter around and decompress.
This isn’t a dog for someone looking for an “easy” pet, but for the right home, Panda will be a rewarding companion.
