Elsa is a beautiful and sweet girl, who would love a forever home.
Elsa came into our care heavily pregnant, via the dog pound. She has raised her children and would now like to start the search for her forever home.
She is a medium sized lurcher type, who is good with people and other dogs. She can be a little shy at times with new people, but she does come around well.
She could live with gentle, sensible children 8yrs and over. She is a sweet girl, with not a bad bone in her body. She just needs a loving forever home, who are gentle with her. Once she is feeling brave, she soon starts to show you her fun side, and she will do zoomies and try get you to play with her. She also loves flinging her toys around and just having a good play.
She has been very good in our home, she hasnt been destructive or noisy in anyway. Aslong as she gets her play time or walkies everyday, she loves to spend the rest of her day just chilling out in a cozy bed. She will require some house training, at the moment she is using puppy pads here, because she is offcourse still living with her pups so the pads are down for them, and so she will use them too if she needs the toilet and we arent around.
She does walk ok on the lead, she can be nervous at times. She is particularly spooked by metal noises such as metal trailers going past, tin or metal getting hit or metal wire scraping the ground. Metal noises in general can cause her to panic. She is getting braver with this, but still something to keep in mind. She may have a negative memory from her past.
A secure garden would required to ensure her safety, however she doesnt like being outside anyway for long periods, she is very much a couch potato at heart.
ELSA WILL NOT BE READY FOR ADOPTION UNTIL JANUARY 2026. BUT CAN ACCEPT APPLICATIONS AND VISITS BEFORE THEN.
