Pedro- African Side Neck Turtle

Description

A true class clown, Pedro will do almost anything for a little snack and is just as fast on land as he is in the water.

Minimum required enclosure size: 4x2 tank with adequate dry basking space, or secure heated outdoor pond. Suitable for: -older sensible children (he will try and nip fingers if he thinks they are food) - new or experienced keepers Pedro will need to be an only turtle in the tank as he will chase other turtles regardless of size. A true class clown, Pedro will do almost anything for a little snack and is just as fast on land as he is in the water. He likes plenty of hiding spaces in the water as well as to have a snooze in his basking spot in the afternoon.
