Description

These very sweet but sensitve pups are seeking forever homes.

These beautiful little pups were surrendered into our care recently by their breeder who said it was an 'accidental' litter. They are deerhound mix so are expected to grow to a large size. The girls Rayna and Forest are currently around 9-10kg, the boy Wolfe is 15kg currently at 4 months old. They are only pups so are great with dogs and would benefit from a home with another confident dog as they are quite timid at the moment, though we do see them growing in confidence daily. They just havent had much socialisation prior to coming into our care. They could potentially live with cats, if the cats are used to large dogs and introductions are done gradually. Whilst they are very sweet and gentle pups, they would be best with kids 8yrs and over, but younger could be considered depending on the childs nature. They wouldnt be suitable for super noisy or active kids, as they will be very nervous at first and would be overwhelmed, They will need time and patience to allow their conifdence to grow. They will require all basic puppy training, including house and lead training. They have been introduced to some lead training, but are still quite unsure and nervous, but have slowly started to show some progress as their confidence grows. They would be best in a home with someone home most of the time, as they will need time to settle in and adjust. When they first came into rescue, they were passing what looked like black bags and rubbish in their stool and would try and eat poop, likely due to being anxious about not being fed enough previously, so this is a behaviour that needs monitored, anything they shouldnt eat should be kept out of their reach. The behavour is improving daily as they are adjusting to our routine and understanding more that their meals are going to come regualrly everyday. A secure garden would be required to ensure their safety.
