Daisy is a much loved dog who is looking for her forever home after her previous owner passed away.
Daisy was clearly a much loved member of the family, who is looking for a new home as her owner sadly passed away. She is 8 years young, and we really mean young! She is fully of energy, loves her walks, her toys, her zoomies, and her ball! But she is the best of both worlds as after a run around she's delighted to curl up on your lap for snuggles on the sofa, and never wants to be far away from the action.
She is a dream to walk on the lead and her recall off lead is excellent. She's incredibly fast when offf lead in fields or around a beach. Although she's good around other dogs, she would be happy in an only dog house too as she loves all the attention.
She travels well in the car and loves to look out the window and watch the world go by. She's very well behaved in the house and in the garden and doesn't dig. So she is suitable for gardeners! She will tolerate short periods alone, however she just loves being around people, so would suit someone home most of the time and who doesn't mind a shadow! She's happy sleeping in a bed or in a crate.
She's happy around kids who respect her boundaries, but she can jump up when she's excited (especially if she sees her lead to go a walk) so older children would be best so that she wouldn't knock them over. We haven't met a cat with her yet, but she was with pigeons in the garden and wasn't the least bit bothered by them so I would suspect a cat would be fine but it would need tested.
Overall she is just a lovely dog who has such a great blend of energetic playfulness and relaxing snuggles. A quiet, but active, home would be the ideal one for her.
