He is a 17 month old golden lab
Bailey had a bad start to life before he was with a foster family at 8 weeks old until he was 5 months old. He found what he thought was his forever home, but unfortunately, through no fault of his own, found himself back in the foster care system in January this year.
He was quite thin, possibly due to a reaction to his diet. Now, he is gaining weight and doing very well, although requires food for a sensitive stomach.
He is a beautiful, intelligent, witty little man. He loves to run at the beach or over the fields with his new canine brothers and is obsessed with a ball. Bailey plays really well with other dogs and small children. He has shown no interest in the cats he has encountered so far.
Although a bit immature for his age, he is a very fast learner and is progressing daily.
He is happy to have a comfy bed (and very, very happy to share yours) with his teddy bear. He will find his own safe spot within the home and should be left to do this.
