Adventorous hound Harriet seeks new hiking buddy.
Harrier Hound Harriet was one of a large litter of puppies born into the care of Animal Connexions just before Christmas 2024.
Alongside her siblings, Harriet was given the best possible start by our wonderful foster family. They made sure the puppies were well socialised and introduced to all kinds of new sights, sounds, and experiences. Thanks to that care, Harriet has grown into a very happy and sweet young dog. Harriet is ready and keen to continue learning as she grows older.
Harriet has developed a love of hiking with her foster family. You will often find her out exploring the Mournes and the areas around Newcastle at the weekend. We would like to find Harriet an active, adventurous home to continue her adventures.
Whilst Harriet was initially adopted, the family unfortunately experienced a change in circumstances, and Harriet returned to our care. This was in no way Harriet’s fault, and she is once more searching for her forever family.
Harriet adores the company of the other hounds with whom she lives. In her new home, Harriet would love a doggy friend. Her ideal playmate is someone friendly and energetic, just like herself.
Harriet can live with children over the age of eight. She may be able to live with a dog-savvy cat.
