Description

Luna is seeking a loving and understanding forever home.

Luna is a beautiful and smart girl who is seeking a suitable forever home. Luna would love a home in a more quiet and rural setting if possible at the moment. She has been raised around kids and loves kids and other people, a home with kids 8yrs+ would ideal. In rescue she is doing well with other dogs and has many friends and is great with them. Before coming to rescue her socialisation with other animals was limited, which has resulted in her being lead reactive on walks. So she can pull and bark at other dogs in walks, this will need some training and should improve with time. We can cover training costs with a dog trainer who uses positive training methods. We were told in her first home she spent most of her time locked in a crate, which meant she missed out on alot of socialisation and exposure during her early developmental stages, but she is working hard on her socialisation now and is growing in confidence with new dogs. Luna originally came into our care with her pups, as an owner surrender. Her pups offcourse all found homes very quickly and poor Luna was left behind. Luna would need a home with a secure garden and ideally someone home quite a bit during the day, though when she was in the house previously she wasnt destructive or noisy. She is house trained, but might need some refreshing when in a new home and routine as she is currently in kennels now.
