This beautiful boy is Bobby and his Christmas wish has come true 🎄
Bobby was originally a welfare case and has spent the last 8 months in kennels and today he finally joined our wee team to start his rescue journey and find his brand new start ❤️
Having been involved in rescue for a long time, we've seen there are some breeds that can manage kennels for a temporary time and some that can’t and staffies just don’t do well.
They lose weight, they stress, they worry and that painful Staffy gargle of complete and utter misery pierces through your brain and it’s kept me up at night 🥺
Look at his wee face, he didn’t ask to be brought into this shitty world, probably by a backyard breeder looking to make quick money. He didn’t ask to be neglected, he didn’t ask to spend 8 months in kennels waiting day after day for his family to pick him up. He didn’t deserve to bark and cry with no one listening and no voice to call. He DIDN’T deserve this 💔
So yet again here we are picking up the pieces of irresponsible owners not taking responsibility for what’s theirs. I wish everyday there was no need for us, and all the other amazing rescues busting their balls doing their best, but there is and while dogs like Bobby need us we will be here ❤️
