Beautiful Lab mix pup seeking a patient and loving forever home.
Rick is a very shy and timid boy, once he starts to feel safe around you, he does love a good stroke and his favourite thing of all is playing fetch. He LOVES fetch. We havent really got to see his true personality yet as he is so shy, he will need lots of extra cuddles and care to help him grow more in confidence. He will require a home with atleast one other dog, he relies heavily on other dogs and is at his happest when around other dogs. Rick will require an adult only home, as he is such a shy boy and is not used to children. He will require all basic puppy training including lead training and someone home most of the time initially to help him settle in and feel secure. He can be destructive if he gets bored. He loves playing fetch.
He is currently working on his lead training, but as he is such a timid boy with people still. He will walk with another dog, but wont move if on his own. He is only used to practice walking around the our yard/field currently and would need continued work building his confidence. A more rural and quiet location is required, he would find busy or built up areas to be very overwhelming. A secure garden would be required, 5/6ft fencing as small fences would not be suitable as he could run if he got spooked, and if he gets rehomed he will find it scary at first without his friends and his familiar environment.
