Oscar is a bouncy strong boy who is looking for his forever home
Oscar came as a big, bouncy, strong, top dog, centre of the world type of boy. A lovely happy boy but no idea how to behave properly with other dogs or people because in his head they didn't exist hahaha... We all know people like that. *** 04/01/2023 update *** Oscar is very good now with any new dog that we have introduced to the pack, He is happy to ignore them and go about his business and he actually is very chilled. *** end of 04/01/2023 update ***
He had also been muzzled all the time before arriving here in December 2021 and so had little to no hair left on his nose and was really sad looking. He has made a fantastic turnaround since then and is a beautiful boy. Yes he is still bouncy but now is more aware of what he is doing and is more careful, with us anyway 😃 He is a super clever boy and has surprised us with his tolerance of other dogs pulling on him and jumping all over him. (Ruby in particular). No doubt his tolerance is with his "pack". Oscar is truly a wonderful boy and will love you so much.
NB :: Being a greyhound/sighthound means potentially could go into hunting mode if sees small animals running. We are now putting this warning with all of our sighthounds and does not mean that this particular one is this way - just a warning to introduce carefully and be watchful.
